He can shape change along with other mirages such as duplicating himself, all using leaves. His father was killed by the Hiten brothers, and Inu Yasha took care of them. After this incident, Shippou joined Inu Yasha's group in their conquest for the magical shards. He's quite lovable, but he's always abused by Inu Yasha. He's not the best of fighters, but he does try hard to provide as much help to the group as possible.
