Myouga is the flea youkai who is a mentor, if you will, to Inu Yasha and the others. He is extremely intelligent, but his habit of running away whenever the going gets tough is more than irritating. Inu Yasha is fond of referring to him as Myouga-jiji, which translates to a rude way of calling him an old man. Myouga enjoy nothing more than sucking blood out of his companions' faces. Jyaken is the vertically challenged toad-like youkai follower of Sesshou maru. We're not completely sure on what type of creature he is, or what purpose he serves to Fluffy, other than comic relief. He carries the staff of two heads that spews flames on command. Jyaken's the typical sidekick; loyal, trustworthy, and very much abused. It's quite funny how when Sesshou maru is stepping on him or whatnot, we NEVER see Fluffy's face. Jyaken's weapon is his odd two headed staff. Return to Top
Rin is the insanely cute human child whom Sesshou maru brought back to life by using the Tensaiga. She was killed by Kouga's wolves who raided a nearby village. She latched right on to Sesshou maru, and never leaves his side. She will do anything for him. Many people wonder why Sesshou maru keeps this human girl with him, as he despises humans so much. I, as well as others, believe this is so because of Rin's personality. She has no fear towards him, only love. He never received this from a human before and this intrigues him. As for listenning to what Jaken says, those skills are non-existent. Her cute, spunky attitude make her a wonderful character who cannot help but be loved. Return to Top
Kohaku is the younger brother of Sango. He, like Sango, is a demon exterminator. He was on his first mission to go on a mission with his sister, father, and fellow exterminators from the village. The poor lad was a nervous wreck as is, and things weren't made any easier when the giant spider appeared. The exterminators successfully brought down the arachnid, but that wasn't the end. A demon was controlling the lord of the manor, and possessed Kohaku's body. He turned on his family, and friends, killing them, then dying himself. Kohaku's Weapon is a chain sickle. Return to Top
Kirara is the ever so faithful pet of Sango. This adorable little kitten is also a terrific and fierce fighter, for she transforms into a larger, much more frightening feline who's paws and tail are trimmed with fire. And let's not forget the two giant sabers that extend from her top jaw. Always there to lend a back to ride on, always there to hug. Return to Top
Kaede is the younger sister of Kikyou. Now that kikyou died, she has become the head priestess of the village. She is quite skilled in medicinal herbs and is the designated "doctor" of the village. She provided the enchanted necklace to Kagome that Inu yasha now wears. She also fights with the hama no ya, but her arrows aren't as powerful as Kagome or Kikyou's. Return to Top
These two scoundrels are the brothers who killed Shippou's father. Hiten is the "handsome" one, and Manten, well he's the other. Manten was jealous of his older brother because he could never get a girl, for he was without hair, and has the features of their mother. Hiten was quite the Ladies' Man, having the features of their father. They have a taste for human flesh Manten took Kagome into his possession in order to boil her down to form an ointment to rub on his scalp as a hair growth formula. Kagome told them to let her go back to her "love" Inu yasha, and he'll give them all the Shikon shards. Inu yasha denies loving her, and all hell breaks loose. It ends up with Manten being killed, and Hiten eating his heart for strength. Return to Top
Kagura is a wind youkai spawned from Naraku, and she's only a few months old. Her older sister is Kanna. Kagura travels on a feather she pulls from her hair bun, as she flies across the lands, doing Naraku's dirty work. She wishes not to serve him anymore, she wants to make her own decisions. She uses a fan as a weapon to toss deadly razor gusts at her foes. She quite exotic looking, with her red eyeshadow and elven ears. At least in my opinion. Return to Top
Kanna is the older sister of Kagura, although she may not look it. She rarely speaks a word, and she's white as a sheet. Always carrying the mirror around with her, she uses it as a tool for Naraku to gather the souls of her victims. Return to Top
Hachi is the tanuki companion of Miroku. Hachi transforms into numerous different forms, including a giant yellow squash shaped creature which provides Miroku and company with a source of tranportation. Hachi and Miroku are partners in crime. Before Miroku met up with the inu Yasha group, the two of them had a scheme of Hachi pretended to be a demon terrorizing a home, and Miroku would drive him out, for a reward of course. Tanuki are raccoon spirits who use illusions like Kitsune. Return to Top |
